Auto Mode is designed for collections that jump between pop, rock, electronic, hip-hop, and everything else: it applies general mixing rules such as smooth tempo progression, vocal protection (no fading in the middle of a sung line), and energy-aware sequencing, without assuming any particular genre. When a library leans heavily one way, dedicated genre modes go further - Rap/R&B, Latin, Electronic, and Indie modes each change how transitions are planned, from beat-matched blends in Electronic mode to vocal-phrase timing in Latin mode. So a mixed folder plays well out of the box, and a genre-focused folder can sound even more deliberate with the matching mode enabled.
