Winamp Alternative for Windows
Winamp is not gone - it still installs and runs on Windows 11, and it can crossfade. Classic players like Winamp, foobar2000, and VLC play local files well, and most of them can fade - Winamp through its DirectSound output plugin, foobar2000 through a separate DSP component. What none of them do is change the fade per song: you set one number and every pair gets it. My Personal DJ treats the library as raw material for a DJ set instead - it analyses every track's BPM, key, and loudness, then picks the length and shape of each individual transition.
