Before replacing anything, two settings are worth knowing. Spotify shuffle is not plain random - Smart Shuffle slips in recommendations you did not pick, and Premium users can switch it off under your profile picture, Settings, Playback, then the Include Smart Shuffle in play modes toggle. Crossfade lives in that same Playback panel as a slider from 0 to 12 seconds, though it competes with gapless playback and is unreliable for local files. What neither setting gives you is a running order chosen from the music itself, or a transition length that changes with the two songs involved.
